I’m a passionate educator with 5 years of teaching experience in high school mathematics. I’m a Senior Fellow with the Knowles Teacher Initiative where I’ve designed, planned, and implemented presentations and week long academy courses to teach other educators high-impact teaching strategies based on conferences and research work during my teaching fellowship with the organization. I’m passionate about practitioner inquiry and collaborating with colleagues to develop mathematical tasks that improve students’ access to long-term math understanding through experience learning. When I’m not teaching, I’m dreaming of the next time I’ll see Mickey. I love the Disney parks! I also sing with the Seattle Men’s Chorus as an upper baritone, the largest chorus of its kind in North America. I love singing with the mission to create a more inclusive world. I’m excited to join the Tahoma High School to continue my work and build on the successes already formed by the math team!
